The Khewra Salt Mine (or Mayo Salt Mine) is situated in Khewra, north of Pind Dadan Khan, a managerial subdivision of Jhelum District, Punjab Region, Pakistan, which ascends from the Indo-Gangetic Plain. It is Pakistan's biggest and most seasoned salt mine and the world's second largest.
